Julia Kent (cello/string
arrangements) was born in Vancouver, Canada, and studied cello at Indiana
University, Bloomington. In addition to her ongoing participation in Antony
and the Johnsons, she has performed and/or recorded with many artists
and ensembles, including Burnt Sugar, the Angels of Light, Devendra Banhart,
Mi and L’au, Larsen, Leona Naess, Angela McCluskey, Donovan, Rufus
Wainwright, Richard Barone, Ryan Adams, Rasputina, and Saul Zonana.
